There will always be sleepers in fantasy sports. Sleepers are those players that explode onto the scene with little hype or regard, but wind up making a huge impact and can be the equivalent of a top round pick for a team that gets lucky to have one. If you are looking for a fantasy football sleeper in 2010 than the following 5 sleepers might be something to help you along your way.
5 Fantasy Football Sleepers in 2010
- Chris Wells – Not sure how much of a sleeper he is today, but with Hightower still in the starting role, he will need to have a breakout year to get into the gig full time. However, without Warner throwing the ball down-field the Cards look to move the ball more on the ground this year, which could open up some big play for Wells.
- Matt Moore – The unknown QB is getting his shot to start this year with Jake comfortably in the Browns uniform now. Moore put up some good numbers last year in a the couple of games he played and could be in for a big year this year. He is flying well below the radar at this point and could be a solid back-up choice for QB.
- John Carlson – The TE has been improving every year and looks to continue that pace this year. If his game elevates any more it will put him among the league top TE and could be a solid option if you miss out on one of the top 3 guys.
- Zach Miller – The TE put up some decent numbers last year despite not having a good QB throwing to him. With the added play of veteran Jason Campbell, Miller looks to be in a for a better year than last.
- Devin Hester – He was a good WR last year and looks to be even better this year. He has been getting worked into the receiving corps more and more and this year looks to be his breakout year. Look for Cutler to go long in Hester’s way quite a bit this year and if he can keep his routes in tack he may be in for a huge year.
