A’s Breslow could be in line for extra save chances

Not that I’m bitter or anything, but the loss of Oakland A’s closer Andrew Bailey has been rather painful to some fantasy owners. Without Bailey, the A’s have mixed and matched with their closers and it cost them a win (and as it turned out cost me a championship in my head-to-head league) when Brad Ziegler blew a save for Brett Anderson with two outs in the bottom of the ninth on Wednesday against the White Sox. That same day, Bailey had surgery to clean up his elbow — officially ending his season.
