Every week we featured several running backs that will go off as well as some that will be potential duds.  There are a few big plays this week, as well as some much bench players.  Here are the week 11 running backs that should bench this week, as well as some running backs in week 11 that you should play.

Running Backs For Week 11 To Bench:

1. Clinton Portis – He is battling a sprained knee and hasn’t practiced all week. It looks unlikely that he will play this week and so I would bench him.  The problem here also is there is no clear replacement for him.  Betts is looking like the obvious choice, but he is also banged up and has been limited in practiced.  If he can’t go then it will be the first start of the year for Shaun Alexander.

2. Reggie Bush – It looks like his return this week was a little to quick and that the will give him another week to heal.  I hope this means that he will be able to return for sure next week and look for him to be big down the stretch.

3. Steven Jackson – Well this seems like a no-brainier and he didn’t even travel with the team this week to San Fran.  I would look for his replacement Antonio Pittman to get the start and do pretty well.

Week 11 Running Backs to Start:

1. Antonio Pittman – As mentioned above, he should start this week for Jackson, which will make him a good fantasy play this week.

2. Ladell Betts – I’m a little hesitant to say him here, but he is looking like he will get the start over Alexander so he should be a good fantasy play this week and might still be available on the wire.

3.  Deuce McAllister – With Bush being out for another week, it will leave the door open once again for Deuce to run wild.  He and Thomas will get the bulk of the carries with the goaline going to Deuce. He should be a good fantasy play this week.
