LT to miss Chargers’ home opener against Ravens

Posted by edge On September - 19 - 2009

LT to miss Chargers’ home opener against Ravens photo SAN DIEGO (AP)—LaDainian Tomlinson(notes) has been ruled out of the San Diego Chargers’ home opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday due to a sprained ankle, just the second time the star running back will miss a start due to injury in his brilliant nine-year career.

If you haven’t already, try to get Sproles.  LT is an over rated has been.  Running backs his size don’t last too long in the big leagues.  If you drafted him like I did in round 1, just keep him in your back pocket for now.

Turkey? Nah, it’s an Eagle.

Turkey? Nah, its an Eagle. photo The Eagles are done.  Drop McNabb, keep Westbrook as a secondary RB if you have him and start looking on your wires for another pick if you have the chance.  Better yet, if you got some moron in your league, make the trade if your deadline is still open.  Reid doesn’t give a damn anymore, and McNabb is an over rated has been.  Westbrook is too banged up to be a solid consistent RB anymore. Question is; Did these guys bring their bollocks to the field tonight or not? I found this post and it shows a perfect example of what I’m talking about.  (http://www.nflgridirongab.com/2008/08/27/potential-sleeper-and-disappointment-teams-in-2008/)

“With the new season almost upon us, everyone begins to think of which team will surprise and which will disappoint. To save your struggles, I’m here to help. Here are three sleepers, and three disappointments.

EDGE’s Fantasy Team Recipe for SUCCESS

Posted by edge On October - 20 - 2008

Why do you never win in fantasy league?  I like the NINERS every freaking week….. Get your act together and follow these guidelines.

RULES

1. Good players from good teams

This is one of my number one rules because it can be the difference between your team winning or losing this upcoming season. Focus on trying to get the best available players from the teams that you think have the best offense. By trying to avoid players on the teams with offenses that you think are not very good, you will be saving yourself some anxiety down the road. The Chicago Bears for example, have a crappy offense Read the rest of this entry »
