There are some big surprises to start the season in terms of overall teams. Fantasy Baseball Week 3 Hot Players
Fantasy Baseball Week 2 Trends
There have been quite a few surprises in baseball this year. Toronto’s hot start is quite unexpected and they are doing it on both sides of the ball. With some great young pitching in the form of Ricky Romero, and some hot bats like Aaron Hill, the Blue Jay’s are off to one of their best starts in franchise history. In addition, can anyone beat the Florida Marlins these days or should we just go ahead and give them the title now. With an 11-1 start they are by far the most surprising teams in baseball this year. They have been getting some good play across the field and in the batter’s box, and this young club will certainly be trying to make another run this year. Fantasy Baseball – Week 1 Trends
The first week of fantasy baseball is coming to a close and there are certainly some surprises as well as some old expected trends going on. The following is my week 1 fantasy baseball trends. Angels Starting Pitcher Nick Adenhart Dies
Angels Starting Pitcher Nick Adenhart Died in a car crash this morning in Fullerton, CA. He started last night’s game for the Angels and had a great game and was in a line for a major league win, until the bullpen gave up the lead and his win. He was a pitching prospect with a promisin career in front of him.
Quarterback Jay Cutler’s New Starting Job
Jay Cutler has a new starting job with the Chicago Bears. I for one am glad that Denver finally let him go. It’s obvious that the trade rumors rubbed Jay the wrong way and I don’t think that Denver Coach McDaniels would have ever been able to win Cutler’s trust back; that bridge was burned. Now, it looks like everyone is going to get a nice fresh start. McDaniels will find a QB that he can mold and dictate. Cutler will finally find out what it feels like to be on a team with a good defense. I’m guessing the Bears have a better chance of making the play-offs this season. I’d call it a sure thing if they actually had some brand name wide receivers, but they don’t, so it’s still iffy. Read the rest of this entry »
