LT to miss Chargers’ home opener against Ravens photo SAN DIEGO (AP)—LaDainian Tomlinson(notes) has been ruled out of the San Diego Chargers’ home opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday due to a sprained ankle, just the second time the star running back will miss a start due to injury in his brilliant nine-year career.

If you haven’t already, try to get Sproles.  LT is an over rated has been.  Running backs his size don’t last too long in the big leagues.  If you drafted him like I did in round 1, just keep him in your back pocket for now.

Top 8 QBs for the NFL 2009 Fantasy Season photo1. Drew Brees: Brees was simply the best quarterback in the NFL last year, and he’s a superstar. Especially when it comes to fantasy leagues. Brees had a handful of monster games last season, and it’s safe to say that this season should be no different. Bonus points when you factor in Colston’s return.

2. Tom Brady: I’d be tempted to put him at #1, but his rustiness could be an issue at the beginning of the season and it remains to be seen how well he’s recovered from injury. He’s looked strong in the preseason, but that’s no sure thing. Now that we’ve thrown out the risk factors, Brady is a fantasy stud and could easily be the best in football.
