There have been quite a few surprises in baseball this year. Toronto’s hot start is quite unexpected and they are doing it on both sides of the ball. With some great young pitching in the form of Ricky Romero, and some hot bats like Aaron Hill, the Blue Jay’s are off to one of their best starts in franchise history. In addition, can anyone beat the Florida Marlins these days or should we just go ahead and give them the title now. With an 11-1 start they are by far the most surprising teams in baseball this year. They have been getting some good play across the field and in the batter’s box, and this young club will certainly be trying to make another run this year. Fantasy Baseball – Week 1 Trends
The first week of fantasy baseball is coming to a close and there are certainly some surprises as well as some old expected trends going on. The following is my week 1 fantasy baseball trends. Angels Starting Pitcher Nick Adenhart Died in a car crash this morning in Fullerton, CA. He started last night’s game for the Angels and had a great game and was in a line for a major league win, until the bullpen gave up the lead and his win. He was a pitching prospect with a promisin career in front of him.
