I’m watching the playoffs this weekend and noticing a few things that may help my fantasy football 2009 team. One, Joe Flacco is certainly a better QB that many give him credit for. In fact, I’m wondering why isn’t Joe rookie of the year. Where is Matt at these days. Not that they both didn’t have good years, and maybe over the course of the season Matt did enough to deserve the award, but why was Joe not even considered. There wasn’t one vote for him as the #1 candidate for Rookie of the Year, despite being one of two rookies to play every game and lead their team to the playoffs. Read the rest of this entry »

If Only Darren Sproles Could Start, Darren Sproles Fantasy Advice
This hasn’t been one of the better seasons for the Chargers, but they are getting some good play from Darren Sproles. With LT being bothered by a toe injury this year, Sproles has gotten more playing time and a chance to showcase his skills for the NFL. Like Turner who ran in the shadow of LT for many years and is now having a breakout season starting for Atlanta, Sproles could also be the one to provide a huge boost to a running game if given the opportunity to produce on a regular basis.
